The Municipality of Lambton Shores Council has passed a by-law to impose a Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) of four per cent (4%) on all short-term accommodations.
The MAT will come into effect on January 1, 2026 and applies to all accommodations sold for a continuous period of less than 30 days. The mandatory MAT applies to hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, and short-term rentals.

Reservations
High Season - June 12th to September 10th. Weekly rental only during this time. Check-in is Friday starting at 4:00 pm and Checkout is Friday before 10:30 am.
Low-Season to April 10th to June 11 and September 11th to October 30th. Minimum of two nights and three nights on a long weekend. Check-in is starting at 4:00 pm and Checkout is before 10:30 am.
Renter must be at least 30 years old.
